The system
Built by watching a front desk, not a spreadsheet.
Every screen in KaribuOne starts from a moment in someone's day: a guest arriving, a room to turn around, a table to seat, a kitchen waiting for a ticket. That is why it feels obvious to use.
The day, on one screen
Arrivals, in house, departures, rooms to clean and anything that blocks a room. No revenue tiles taking up half the screen — those live in the report.
The tape chart
Rooms down the side, days across the top, bookings as bars you drag. The one view every receptionist asks for on day one.
Rates that hold
Seasons, rate plans derived from your base rate, early-bird and last-minute, and a parity screen that catches the channel drifting out of line.
Channels
Booking.com, Expedia and your own site in one calendar, with commission and net yield per channel so you know what a booking is actually worth.
Restaurant and bar
Tables with QR ordering, a kitchen and bar display, point of sale, and a rule that kitchen only starts when service marks the guest as seated.
Housekeeping
Rounds per room and per public space, with exact counts and a photo of how it should look. Works offline in a basement lift.
On the floor
The apps your team actually uses
Nobody on your floor opens a laptop. So the work happens on a phone in an apron pocket and a tablet on a wall bracket — with buttons big enough for gloved hands and a queue that keeps your ticks when the network drops.
Housekeeping
Her rooms, her checklist, a photo of the finished result, and a broken-tap report with the camera.
- 2 × coffee, 2 × tea, 4 × sugar — counted, not guessed
- A photo of how the bed and the coffee tray should look
- Public areas too: lobby toilets on the hour
- Keeps her ticks when the network drops in the lift
Room 214
Kettle empty and clean, cups with the handle to the right, all sachets label up.
